High Force Research will be attending several virtual events to finish 2020.
Beginning on the 11th November, members of our R&D team will be looking to expand their knowledge on the most up-to-date methodologies by attending the RSC’s New Frontiers in Synthetic Chemistry symposium. Aimed at both academic and industrial researchers, this event aims to showcase advances and discuss opportunities for future developments in the synthetic chemistry community.
New Frontiers in Synthetic Chemistry 2020
11 – 12 November 2020
This symposium will showcase recent advances from across synthetic chemistry and discuss what future developments may be in store for the field by bringing together researchers across several career stages from both academia and industry.
Given the restrictions on physical events throughout 2020, the DIT have partnered with UK ChemOnline to deliver a virtual trade show on the 19-20th November. This will give companies the opportunity to showcase their products and services to a global audience, and HFR will be there to highlight our hand-in-hand approach to chemical innovation and quality manufacturing.
Virtual Trade Show
19-20th November 2020
The Department for International Trade (DIT) is holding a virtual trade show, UK ChemOnline that will be running on 19th & 20th November 2020.
November concludes with HFR exhibiting at the long-standing and popular ‘Hatfield MedChem’ conference on the 26th of the month. With HFR’s established expertise in the development and supply of novel API’s for clinical studies, we’re always keen to supplement our knowledge with developments at the front-end of the process through a more thorough understanding of new medicinal chemistry.
Hatfield MedChem Conference
26th November 2020
The Symposium on Medicinal Chemistry in Eastern England, known colloquially as the “Hatfield MedChem” meeting, is a highly successful, long-standing, one-day meeting which runs annually.
Events within the festive season will be slightly different this year and our virtual presence during this period begins with a Pharma Outsourcing on the 10th December, where we’ll be looking to build partnerships and collaborations with across the drug development landscape.

The international annual partnering meeting is targeted at R&D and CMC professionals, service providers and Investment Managers, and provides an opportunity to meet, network and discuss best practices related to outsourcing in drug development.
Our 2020 then comes to a close from a digital events perspective on the 14th December, when we attend the Molecular Sciences in Medicine CDT annual conference, held between Durham and Newcastle Universities.
HFR are passionate about supporting fundamental research, especially across the North East of England, and this conference will be a great way to finish off the year and learn more about the exciting research projects being undertaken on our doorstep.
Molecular Sciences in Medicine CDT Annual Conference
14th December 2020
The EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Molecular Sciences for Medicine (MoSMed) is an EPSRC funded joint venture between Newcastle and Durham Universities.
