HFR Project Symposium 2019
High Force Research has held its first Project Symposium. PhD students whose projects are funded by HFR got together to showcase their work at the company’s NetPark site.
The audience were treated to talks by Durham, Northumbria and Newcastle University students Charlie Tomlinson, Kathleen Bowes, Oliver Gray, Joe O’Sullivan and Indrail Duttagupta on wide ranging topics including fluorescent probes, SERS, fluorination and solid phase synthesis. High Force are hoping to make this an annual event and aim to build on their collaborations with local universities.
